Shrink Sealing
Shrink wrap packaging consists of many different methods. The most common method is to run the product through a "heat shrink tunnel" where the product is wrapped in a plastic film then conveyed through a tunnel which blows hot air onto the plastic wrapped product. This causes the plastic to wrap and shrink tightly around the product, "heat shrinking it" to secure the items tightly.
There are multiple different types of plastics to use but it depends on how heavy or sharp your product is being packed out.
A thicker and bulkier plastic is need to safely secure a heavier product such as the 24 pack energy drink trays seen in picture three above. As the product needs to ensure its arrival intact and safe through transportation between locations and essentially to the end user.
Heat shrinking your product allows for a lower number of defective productive, leaving a larger supply to sell and provide to your happy customers.

A continuous band sealer applies heat and pressure onto the bottom portion of the zip nylon bag. It may also apply a lot/date code if your product needs it.
